How it works

Portions, prices, delivery in Lagos and Abeokuta, refunds and coolers, in plain words.

Portions

  • One plate is 350g of rice, pasta or noodles plus one full piece of protein.
  • Coolers serve roughly: 5L ≈ 13 guests, 10L ≈ 26, 20L ≈ 52 at a normal party appetite. Office lunches go further; heavy eaters need more. The calculator handles this for you.
  • We add 10% extra chicken to every calculated plan.

Prices

  • Food prices in Lagos change week to week. The price you see is locked the moment you pay.
  • Saved quotes hold their price for 48 hours.
  • Standing weekly orders are re-priced each week; you see the new total on your invoice before you pay.

Delivery slots

  • We deliver in 3-hour windows. You only see windows the kitchen has room for.
  • Orders need at least 4 hours' notice. Orders for less than 24 hours away carry a 15% rush fee.
  • Unpaid orders hold their slot for 30 minutes.

Cancellations

  • 72 hours or more before delivery: full refund.
  • 24 to 72 hours before: 50% of the food back, plus delivery, packaging and cooler deposit in full.
  • Less than 24 hours before: delivery, packaging and cooler deposit are refunded; the food cannot be.
  • If we ever have to cancel, you get everything back.

Coolers

  • Insulated coolers carry a refundable ₦5,000 deposit each. Prefer not to return anything? Pick disposable foil trays instead (₦1,500 each, no deposit).
  • When our rider collects the empty coolers, read them the 4-digit PIN from your tracking page. Your deposit is refunded immediately after.
  • Coolers not returned within 7 days of delivery are treated as kept, and the deposit covers them.

Office pools

  • The host sets a minimum number of plates and a cutoff time.
  • If the minimum is not reached by the cutoff, the pool is cancelled and every payer is refunded in full, automatically.
  • Payments made after the cutoff are refunded in full. Pool delivery is free.

Refunds

  • Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, through Paystack. Banks usually take 3 to 10 working days to show them.
